Taylor, 15 years old - 10th Grade Taylor’s mother volunteered her opinion about the LP Learning Center and how it helped her son. “So Taylor’s getting to the place in school where teachers give research papers fairly often, and he would spend hours reading and writing. And it would worry me because he looked so worn down. I thought I don’t think this is right. He shouldn’t be this exhausted from his studying. It got worse when he started getting Cs and Ds on papers. The red writing on it constantly criticized his grammar and the way he wrote. We were fortunate to call the [LP] Learning Center when we did because I don’t think Taylor could have handled much more bad grades for all his effort. At the center, they taught him things we must have missed earlier in his schooling: grammar, clarity, and strong theses. I know that he is so much happier without the stress of research papers, and I’m happy when he is.”
